ABOUT THE SERVICES: A foundling is a deserted or abandoned infant/child who relatives are unknown or a child committed in an orphanage or similar institutions and whose facts of births and percentage are unknown.
The Civil Registry Law provides that the registration of foundling in the municipality where the child was found shall be made by the finder/charitable institutions within thirty (30) days from the date of finding/commitment of the child.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Certificate of Founding
  • Affidavit of the Finder
  • Certification of the Brgy Captain or police authority regarding the report made by the finder
SERVICE SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday
8:00 AM to 12:00 noon & 1:00 to 5:00 PM
TOTAL PROCESSING TIME: 1 HOUR
TOTAL FEES/CHARGES: P 20.00 – On time registration
P 50.00 – More than 1 month but less than one year
P 75.00 – One year but less than 10 years
P 100.00 – 10 years & above
Step 1 >> 30 minutes

Submit requirement for registration and provide the necessary information during the interview.

Registration Officer/Clerk conduct interview and prepares the Certificate of Live Birth

Step 2 >> 10 minutes

Pay the corresponding fees at the treasury office.

RCC II/I (MTO) issues Official Receipt

Step 3 >> 10 minutes

Return to MCR Office and present the OR.

Registration Officer/Clerk assigns registry Number to COLB for signature of MCR

Step 4 >> 10 minutes

Claim registered Certificate of foundling.
