Food and Non-Food business establishments are required to secure sanitary permit to make sure they observe the standard of the Sanitary Code of the Philippines. Workers in said establishments are also required to secure health cards.
The Municipal Government of Irosin, in partnership with international and national government and non- government agencies and organizations, implements an anti tuberculosis program to prevent the spread of tuberculosis and to treat TB patients.

The Local Government targets low, if not zero maternal mortality and morbidity rates. To achieve this, the Municipal Health Office implements a comprehensive maternal care program for pregnant and lactating women.
Clients are advised to submit themselves to monthly pre-natal check up. They should submit themselves to post partum care at least two to three times within four to six weeks upon delivery.
